Marco Zoppo

about 1432 - about 1478

Marco (di Antonio) di Ruggero, called Lo Zoppo, was born in Cento but referred to himself as from Bologna, where he lived for a while. He was apprenticed to Squarcione of Padua in about 1453; and left for Venice in 1455. He was in Bologna from 1461 to 1462, and then recorded in Venice, where he later died. There are several authenticated works.
